RECRUITMENT SUPPORT

Recruitment by the HR Experts

We are not a recruitment agency. We know many excellent recruitment agencies, but we are not one of them. However, we do offer boutique and specialist recruitment services based on a specific brief and unique terms.

Having said all of that, we do believe in developing and operating effective recruitment strategies to reduce staff turnover and save costs, and this is where, we HR experts can help you. Our support in this area depends on knowing the following;

  • The long term strategy of your business
  • Your in house People Team; resource and structure

Your wider people plan including onboarding and performance management processes, benefits package and remuneration structure

Seeing recruitment as an opportunity and not a drag

As HR consultants, we often hear negative noise around the drain of recruitment on a business, from a time and monetary perspective.

The truth this, if recruitment is costing the business too much, it’s because you have retention issues. Otherwise, recruitment is a positive thing, because it means your business is a roaring success and you have more employment opportunities to offer.

If the former is the case, and not the latter, we need a much bigger chat.

However, if you need to get your ducks in a row to refine your interview process, assess your routes to market, or discuss headhunting for senior placements, we can help.

Making your onboarding process work for everyone

Many businesses consider a signed contract the end of the recruitment process – but this is not the case. We like to think about employer / employee relationships in the way we would marital relationships. If the interview is the first date, we’re a long way from the wedding day.

You need to think about day 1, month and year 1.

Your entire probationary period needs consideration and this is a two way street. Businesses that assume that their new recruits are going to want to stay are often the ones footing the large recruitment bills. Employment is two- way street, and you’re both going to have to put some effort into making the relationship work.

We love to think creatively to increase employee engagement with new recruits, in a way that represents your company, building ambassadors for your brand and ‘lifers’ for your business.
