Raising Mental Health Awareness in the workplace

In recent years and months, mental health awareness has become even more than a hot topic and more of a way of life. With increasing pressure on performance, the criticism brought by social media, ongoing change and innovation, stress and anxiety is on the rise and effective mental health support has become a necessity.

We encourage peer to peer mental health support in the workplace, and it is important to raise mental health awareness amongst everyone, but even more so at board level. It needs to be a topic of conversation from the top down, ensuring a proactive approach and permission to ‘not be ok’.

Focusing on health and wellbeing to achieve results

Working within the professional specialism we do, we work with people all day every day. We have dealt with death, suicides, depression, chronic mental health illnesses.

We have a strong view that the culture, policies and processes, and management style of a business can all have detrimental impacts upon individuals and their state of physical and emotional health and wellbeing.

Foster an environment that nurtures the wellbeing of mind and you will see the results. Decreased cost of absence, increased productivity and an overall desire to succeed, which in turn, brings success.
